Sasieni Four Dot Rustic Belfast Carved Billiard Estate Pipe

The carved finish seen on this Sasieni Four Dot Rustic Belfast billiard estate pipe is rumored to be one of the first rustication techniques used.  Carved into the natural pattern of the briar, this carved design doesn't reveal so much as embellish the wood.  There is some minor rim darkening but this round shank and straight, tapered billiard from England is in excellent condition with crisp stampings.
