Sasieni Four Dot Marlborough N (Patent Era) Lovat Sitter Estate Pipe

One of the big five manufacturers of what have become the blue ribbon English brands, Sasieni pipes are well regarded for their precise shaping and excellent smoking properties. Patent era Sasieni's like this "Marlborough" Lovat are becoming rarer and rarer on the estate market. Like all English pipes, the older the more collectible, and arguably the better made. This Lovat was probably produced in the late 1940s to 1950s, and is still in very good condition. The pipe has been refurbished, probably several times, before we got a hold of it, so you should treat this with some care as the stem is a bit thin. The fill free briar has a few handling marks and there is some very minor chamber wear, but for an eighty year old pipe, it's in great shape.
