Russ Cook Pipe 2306 Sandblast Horn

This detailed sandblasted horn, from American carver Russ Cook, displays a perfectly oriented pattern in a spectacular specimen of briar.  Straight grain striations and growth rings, radial and distinct, cover every nook and cranny of the stummel save the smooth scooped rim of the bowl and band at the stem's transition.  The draft hole is drilled to the very bottom of the chamber and draw's as smooth as the ebonite stem's polish.  Balanced with a wide crown saddle, this curvaceous smoker is an impressive example of both function and form.
