Royal Danish (Stanwell) 988R Partial Blast Stacked Billiard Sitter Estate Pipe

Marvelously tall in the bowl, this round shanked and saddled stacked billiard Royal Danish estate pipe was made in the Stanwell factory and is finished with a distinctly detailed sandblast save the two panels, one on either side of the bowl.  The magnificently deep chamber tapers only slightly providing a vessel that can be slowly sipped for several hours at a time.  Most may find it too heavy to clench for significant periods, though it does have a comfortable bite and the shoulders of the button, while still crisp after restoration, are shorter than originally intended which makes it difficult to secure between the teeth.  Otherwise in excellent condition with an open, smooth draw promising a satisfying time managing such a large capacity smoker.
