Peterson St Patrick's Day (2006 Make) XL02S Bent Apple with Nickel Estate Pipe

Broad in the shank and thick in the walls of the apple shaped bowl, this XL02 from Peterson was made to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in 2006.  Two decades later and it is still in outstanding condition with just some inner rim darkening from use.  Some of the paint has worn of the fishtail saddle stem's logo, but the draw is quite open and smooth, especially for a Peterson.  Finished smooth with a high-contrast display of radial cross-grain, this Irish-made briar does have a flaw underneath the large bowl, but still a stunning beauty with a wide chamber.
