Nørding AS Bent Sandblast Egg Freehand with Plateaux Estate Pipe

Saddled with an acrylic stem that is closer to the color of champagne than the unfortunate results of the pictures seen here, this Nørding sandblasted freehand from Denmark has a massive bowl made from an excellent specimen of briar.  Counting the growth rings easily seen in the finish, we figure this burl grew in the ground for well over two decades before being harvested and carved into this bent smoker.  There is some darkening across the back of the plateaued rim and the stamping is somewhat worn, though this full sized and cylindrical chamber is in excellent shape and the draw is marvelously smooth and plenty open to both pass a cleaner and support such a large capacity smoker.
