Borrowing from new and modern trends while mixing in classic themes of Italian design, this handmade estate pipe from Luigi Viprati has an oblong bowl with a plump and prominent heel while the shank flares and whips upward into a simple bent and saddle stem. Finished smooth and given a single clover, this large handful of well drilled briar has a shank cap of acrylic and a marvelously smooth draw. In excellent condition with its original box and sleeve and just wide enough in the chamber for a ribbon cut of English or Balkan, this Italian smoker will also do well with a favorite aromatic or burley based blend.
