Larsen Super Bent Sandblast Ladle Estate Pipe with Silver Repair Band

There is a chance that this Larsen Super estate pipe was given its silver band as a purely aesthetic upgrade because there is no definite indication of any cracks in the shank, but whatever the case, we like the look and think its addition balances nicely with the ladle shaped bowl and thin profile of the soft saddle stem.  Though not very deep in the sandblast finish, the detailing is exquisite and there is some inner rim darkening toward the back of the bowl.  Otherwise this uniquely shaped smoker is in outstanding condition with a wide chamber suited for the use of folded flakes and stuffed coins, though any tongue friendly favorite will do well in this smooth drawing handmade from Denmark.
