Kriswill Chief Billiard with Oval Shank Estate Pipe

Part of the inescapable influence of Danish pipe making is the alterations made to basic bowl shapes.  Is it a billiard, a dublin, perhaps an apple or pear?  Whatever preference for shape name, this oval shanked Kriswill Chief estate pipe is a well finished vessel of function.  There are a number of handling marks and some darkening around the inner rim of the rounded feature, but this smooth and naturally contrast finished saddled handmade smoker from Denmark is still in great shape with a lightweight but thick walled bowl and a thin bite for clenching comfort.
