Joseph Skoda Pipe Large Bent Apple with Amber Acrylic Ferrule

Impressively sized and shaped, this thick and smooth finished Skoda Pipe has an immense bowl to insulate a sizeable chamber and a bent shank extended with a ferrule of amber acrylic.  The stem is acrylic as well and neither will ever discolor from oxidation.  The straight grain of the briar is inherently contrasting and Joe's choice of a light finish lets this large canvas display both straight grain along both sides of the shank and all around the bowl with the birdseye tightly grouped along both the top and the bottom of the entire stummel.  Just as important as its striking finish, this bent apple is drilled with a conical chamber featuring a draft hole perfectly placed all the way at the dead-center of the bottom for a compelling smoker that will be a joy to enjoy until the very last morsel of tobacco is turned into smoke.
