Jonas Design Handmade Bent Freehand with Plateau Estate Pipe with BRB Replacement Stem

Tightly grained with a smooth finish, this sizeable Italian handmade freehand estate pipe from Jonas Design has a patch of plateau from the very outer edge of the burl along the flared shank's face and a massive, deep chamber to keep a favorite blend simmering for hours at a time.  The original stem didn't survive restoration so we have fitted a new one and the resulting draw is fantastic.  We also discovered some charring inside the chamber wall so a sodium silicate coating has been added to ensure there won't be any burning issues in this bent freehands long and productive future.
