Jesse Jones Pipe Sandblast Danish Cutty

I just happened to see a sketch on Jesse's workbench, and in my excitement, berated him with questions about when the world would get a chance to see this lovely genre bending shape.  Well, he finally brought it into existence, and it turned out even better than I'd hoped.  Sinewy flowing lines and small nuanced abbreviations make this poised piece a poem of pipe making.  Pleasing in its proportions of panache and purpose, this very neo Danish design achieves a kind of organic theme - a rose bud just before bloom, or a porpoise just before breaking the surface of the water.   Finished with a true red in an antique shade with the star being the straight grain revealed from the blast.  Unique and masterfully executed.
