Details
If this is the first time you've ever seen a windshield designed pipe, no...it isn't an original idea. This shape was part of the Dunhill catalog from way back when they were still producing carriages for being drawn by horses. Alfred, being ever so clever, introduced this design for those afternoons when stuck at the end of a walking horse, riding a bicycle, or traveling in one of those new fangled motorities (or automobiles if your prefer), might generate too much breeze to enjoy just any bowl, so the windshield pipe was born and patented around 1905. Excellent for taking on a walk, but definitely not designed for speeds much over 10 mph. Jesse chose to use a slightly redish hue finish on the blast, which really pops in the direct sunlight. This is a fairly large bowl or a Group 4 in Dunhill speak.
