Jan Pietenpauw Pipe Partial Blast Tomato with Ebonite

As if peeled back from its organic briar sleeve, this emerging smooth tomato bowl is dressed in a pale tan finish while the shank sleeve has been sandblasted in a dark burgundy.  Ringed with ebonite that is flush with the mortise and shank face, this unique handmade from Jan Pietenpauw in South Africa has an echoing ring them from the bowl, shank, saddle and button to keep it balanced.  The chamber cones to the draft hole at the very bottom and is plenty wide enough to handle any broad cut leaf with flavorful and consistent results.
