Jan Pietenpauw Pipe Bent Partial Blast Raised Tomato with Cocobolo and Plateau

Although it does look like a modular construction, this raised tomato from South African pipemaker, Jan Pietenpauw, is handmade from a single block of briar.  Sandblasted along the elbowed shank and adorned with a wide ring of cocobolo, this smooth bowled smoker is capped with a rim of natural plateau and features a consistent display of straight grain in mild contrast wrapping all the way around.  Polished on the inside of the draft that meets the modest chamber's floor, this smooth drawing and singularly unique smoker draws remarkably well and wishes for a favorite blend to really show off.
