James Upshall Handmade Carved Billiard Estate Pipe

Right at six inches, this James Upshall Handmade billiard estate pipe has a fair bit of length and a rustic, carved finish save the smooth and polished rim above the bowl.  Saddled to keep the weight to a minimum, this English and round shank billiard is still likely too heavy to keep clenched throughout the smoke, though it is comfortable enough to do so from time to time.  There is some modest rim darkening and the thick walled chamber is drilled with a taper to the bottom for a vessel that will do particularly well with long sessions of straight Virginias.  In outstanding condition, this English saddled smoker is drilled all the way to the bottom for a pipe that wants to turn every last morsel of packed tobacco into flavorful smoke.
