Il Ceppo Handmade D4145 Bent Bulldog Estate Pipe with Repair Band

Yes, it's big. Like more than a handful big and at over a quarter of a pound, it's heavy too but this Il Ceppo bent bulldog is an excellent specimen of Pesaro pipemaking with a classic shape done with massive bowl proportions.  There was a crack in the shank's face so a repair band has been secured though we must admit, it really does look good on this titanic and classic rhodesian bowled smoker.  Double beaded and holding a truly and massively wide, deep chamber, this Italian handmade can easily keep an ember simmering away for several hours at a time.  There is some wear and darkening at the back of the bowl and a few minor handling marks, but this acrylic stemmed and palm friendly smoker draws like a dream and might be the perfect way to kill all the time between lunch and dinner.
