Hilson New Horizon 301 3/4 Bent Sandblast Egg (9mm Filter) with Silver Estate Pipe

Pride of the Benelux, this Belgium made Hilson egg estate pipe was fitted with a wide band of silver and a pinched saddle stem to help balance out the deep bend and the colossal size of the bowl.  Very deep and cylindrical, the chamber is enormous, and there is some heft with so much briar insulating the walls.  In outstanding condition, though there is some rim darkening, this  9mm filter accommodating bent can be clenched easily enough but is a delight to cradle in the palm.  Note that the shank does have a reservoir very much like the system standard design of Peterson, and this ring blast will pass a cleaner down an open smooth draft.
