Hardcastle's British Made Jack O'London 53 Sandblast Billiard Estate Pipe

We aren't absolutely positive about when this Hardcastle Jack O'London billiard estate pipe was made.  The font and nomenclature in the stampings point to possibly during the family era, before Dunhill purchased the brand which makes this a late 1930s or early 1940s make, though there is no patent number stamping.  We believe the original Jack O'London line was discontinued in 1967 when Dunhill merged Hardcastle with Parker, so at the very least, this pipe has over half a century under its belt.  Clearly worn with time, use, and several trips to the buffing wheel, though the original stem is in outstanding condition.  Light and comfortable with a sweet-spot sized chamber, this old-school English clencher is still in great shape with a fantastic draw.
