GBD Century 9457 Lovat Sitter Estate Pipe

While this large bowled and smooth finished lovat estate pipe from GBD was clearly made and stamped before the early 1980s when they were merged into the Cadogan Group, the stem is likely not original to the pipe.  It may have been a replacement after the original perspex clear stem was broken or it could have been fitted at the time of its original purchase by a certified GBD dealer.  Whatever the case, the yellow, which appears brighter in the pictures because of the white background, is quite striking.  The large billiard bowl features a rounded bevel and does show signs of wear as well as darkening along the inner most portion of the rim.  Smooth in the draw and plenty wide enough to handle any English, Balkan, or Lakeland blend, this English smoker is still in outstanding condition.
