Erik Nørding ROM (1995 Make) Handmade Sandblast Billiard with Nickel Estate Pipe

Ultimately this handmade from Erik Nørding was commissioned by Bentley from Hans "Former" Nielsen.  Former, who worked out of a small scale and artisanal workshop outsourced the work for the famous luxury brand to Erik Nørding, who owned a factory capable of producing the quality pipes in the numbers needed.  In the late 1980 and 90s these pipes were made to the exacting specifications provided by Former and are an interesting historical collaboration of handmade and production practices.  Sandblasted in black with a smooth rim, this straight billiard has a nickel cap at the shank and will not fit a filter.  The draw is smooth and the lightweight stummel combined with the ebonite stem make for a very comfortable clencher with an easy, open draw.  There is some minor darkening and wear across the rim, but this smoker is in outstanding condition.
