Elliott Nachwalter & Jorg Jemelka The Briar Workshop Bent Egg Estate Pipe

Deeply bent and magnificently drilled with a massive chamber and smooth draw, this American handmade estate pipe from The Briar Workshop is the creation of pipemakers, Elliott Nachwalter and Jorg Jemelka.  Like this tapered stem bent, many of their works are finished smooth and display a dense grain pattern nicely oriented to the shape of the bowl.  The wide chamber has been over reamed, likely to remove some charring in its past, so a sodium silicate coating has been added to ensure that no extra care is required to continue smoking this capacious beauty.  Otherwise this handful of bent briar is in outstanding condition and is recommended for looser cuts that are always friendly to the tongue.
