Likely made in the early to mid 1970s, this Elliott Nachwalter handmade bent dublin estate pipe comes from his early days when he worked with Andrew Marks and before he started the Briar Workshop with Jorg Jemelka. Finished smooth with plenty of straight grain radiating up the thick walled bowl, this Danish inspired beauty is adorned with nickel and while it does have some heft with so much wood, the bend does make for a comfortable clench. There is some inner rim darkening but the birdseye laden rim is still gorgeous and this massively chambered American handmade does draw like a dream.
