The high polish and deep, rich finish make it hard to see the grain in this 1972 Dunhill Bruyere 769 estate pipe but each side of the stummel is decked out in tight and dense birdseye showing off the end grain from the cross grained orientation. Stamped a group 4 size and in excellent condition, this English hungarian sitter is a comfortable clencher with a cylindrical chamber for a consistent draw from start to finish. A sturdy sitter and an Oom Paul's enthusiast's dream, this completely bent and smooth briar has just a touch of inner rim darkening.
