Dunhill Bruyere 314 F/T (1965-1966 Make) Prince Estate

Sure, we have many favorite shapes, but the Dunhill 314 from the mid 1960s catalog is way up at the top of the list.  In astoundingly excellent condition with a single small handling mark on the underside of the bowl, this Bruyere fishtail prince estate pipe is a tangible lesson in proportion, taper, and finish.  The stamping clearly indicates a group 2, but this svelte smooth is quite long and wonderfully lightweight.  The double date stamping is interesting but not terribly unique and there is just a touch of inner rim darkening, but this gorgeous and subtly bent beauty looks as if it came out of the display case yesterday.
