Dr. Bob Pipe Partial Sandblast Hawkbill with Acrylic Insert

The familiar curves of the hawkbill shape are exaggerated on this spectacularly finished piece by Dr. Bob.  The ringed sandblast finish around the bowl cascades the layers of growth giving an extra dimension of fullness to this amply walled smoker.  Rusticated through the shank and punctuated with a band of white acrylic to balance between the wood and vibrant markings of the ebonite brindle stem, this well crafted briar has had nothing left to chance.  Intentional and brilliant, this bent puffer is a pleasure to see, but all that pales to how well it will smoke.
