Don (Bari) Bent Apple Estate Pipe

While the grain orientation isn't perfect, this Don estate pipe, from Bari in Denmark, does display an impressive amount of contrasting straight grain around the thick walled bowl.  Fitted with a fancy and offset paneled stem, this slightly bent apple is a touch on the hefty side.  Easy enough to clench, doing so throughout the smoking session could be somewhat cumbersome.  The wide chamber is mostly cylindrical with a conical bottom and the draw is is open enough to support a number of tobacco genres that are friendly to the tongue including flakes and stuffed coins.
