Dirk Heinemann Pipe Bent Ring Blast Panel Dublin with Ox Bone and Plateau

While the pictures do a fair job of capturing the breathtaking and impressive growth rings revealed by the deep sandblast of this handmade bent dublin from German pipemaker, Dirk Heinemann, they do not capture the depth of red and burgundy tones in the finish.  Trimmed with ox bone and paneled along six sides that form the reverse tapered and diamond shank and extend through the transition into the bowl.  The deep and slightly tapered chamber is just outside the sweet-spot, though a slow sipper could certainly get quite a bit of flavor from a favorite Virginia and there is still enough room for a broad cut blend.
