David S. Huber Pipe Sandblast Heirloom Tomato

Deceptive in the most delightful ways, this Tomato from David S. Huber is not just a well shaped smoker, but is tremendously balanced for being asymmetrical - something David does phenomenally well.  A plump and rounded bowl with a little extra bulge in the side keeps it surprisingly comfortable in hand.  The slant in the saddled stem maintains the reverse taper of the shank but keeps that plumpness while still being neat and clean.  The teardrop shank's seam is just sharp enough to wind its way from heel to rim accentuating a natural and organic look.  All these features are executed so superbly they work together in concert ready to back up a performance from a well chosen tobacco.
