David Huber Pipe Sandblast Volcano with Starry Sky Plateau Panel

Ring blasted to reveal the growth rings and straight grain oriented to this volcano shape, this American handmade from David Huber is full of details and intentional shaping.  Note the fins along each side of the bowl that accentuate the front curve of the volcano and mirror the back, allowing for a ripple to pass all the way from the smooth and polished rim to the flared and bent shank.  Finished smooth at the shanks face with a brass reinforced mortise, this bent and wide chambered smoker has a military mounted stem with a minimal and sculpted saddle to echo the angle of the shank.  Best of all for briar lovers is the swath of gnarly plateau panel all along the bottom of the stummel, both detailed and dimensional, like the breadth of a Starry Sky.
