Clairmont Handmade Bent Dublin Freehand with Plateau Estate Pipe

A smooth finish and a glorious amount of straight grain rising all the way up the large bowl is capped at the broad rim of this thick walled Clairmont Handmade freehand estate pipe.  The rim is covered with plateau from the very edge of the briar's burl and this hefty and thick walled smoker has been stemmed with an acrylic saddle that will never oxidize.  Made from Sardinian briar from the small island in Italy, this deep and cylindrically chambered smoker has plenty of room for tongue friendly blends of any size or cut.  There is some darkening across the broad rim in addition to several handling marks about the bowl and after finding some char inside during restoration a sodium silicate coating has been added to ensure several more lifetimes of smoking prowess.
