Charl's Stubby Anse is clearly an artists take on the newer addition to the canon of shapes. Beefier in the cheeks and precise in the taper, this smoker is all about the grain. There are a few blemishes which keep the price from being twice as high, but they don't distract from the tremendous girth of flame and straight grain that need no description. The rounded rim and the wide slot keep this sitter looking great no matter how often it is pulled off the rack. The roundness and proportion bring to mind ripeness and ready tobaccos looking for the perfect vessel.
