Charatan Free Hand Relief Sandblast Barrel Poker Sitter Estate Pipe

While the double comfort stem on this Charatan estate pipe from England does have a bend, the pipe itself is technically straight, just with a bent stem.  Barreled with a large bowl and muscular round shank, this English sandblast is an impressive display of the technique with tight growth rings revealed on the surface.  Deep and wide in the slightly conical chamber, this sturdy sitter does have some darkening around the rim and a large, if shallow, toothmark on the underside of the bite that could not be removed in restoration.
