Captain Pete (Peterson) Bulldog with Brass, Nickel and P-Lip Estate Pipe

Paying homage to the namesake of founder, Charles Peterson, this Captain Pete estate pipe from Irish maker, Peterson is a stocky and thick walled bulldog with an impressive smooth finish revealing a whole side of birdseye.  The trim is a band of nickel sandwiched between brass and the tapered Peterson Lip stem carries enough sweep to qualify as a duck bill.  The chamber is almost cylindrical and easily wide enough to make a flavorful choice for any favorite English, Balkan, or even a Lakeland blend.  There are a few very minor handling marks and some of the paint has worn off the P logo on the stem, but this masculine bulldog is still in excellent shape with a wonderfully smooth draw.
