The large bowl and smooth finish of this Calabresi estate pipe make for a large canvas to showcase the briar's detail in a cross-grain orientation. The tall and wide chamber is capacious with a massive amount of room to enjoy a tongue friendly blend of choice. There is a saddled stem but the thick walls and size of this egg are too much for a casual clencher. There is some minor rim darkening though this American-made smoker from Thomas Cristiano is still in outstanding condition and offers a compellingly smooth and open draw to support such a high volume chamber.
