The finish on this cherrywood modular handmade, from Brian Orton, is both carved and driftwood. The light color is remarkably consistent and make no mistake, this is a briar pipe. Acid is used to remove the softer parts of the wood leaving a texture ordained by the natural grain of the briar. Brian left a good portion in relief beyond just the bent shape and used a meticulous method to carve out and then color a pattern of moss slowly working its way across the bowl and shank. The bent shank and the stem are both removeable making this striking and unique smoker very easy to keep clean and maintained for generations to enjoy.
