Barling Ye Olde Wood 1165 Billiard Sitter Estate Pipe

Made before 1960, this older pre-transition Barling's Make estate pipe carries a large and thick walled bowl with a minimal saddle stem featuring a flattened bite.  The naturally contrasting and smooth finish displays a briar canvas of tightly packed birdseye along both sides of the stummel on this cross-grained smoker.  There is some darkening along the broad rim that couldn't be removed during restoration and the stampings are worn from time and trips to the buffing wheel, but this Ye Olde Wood is still in outstanding condition with a marvelous draw to impress several more generations.
