Barbic (Bartlett & Bickley) 185 Sandblast Billiard Sitter Estate Pipe
Item # MDE217985Sold Out
Details
Made in London before the second World War, this Barbic sandblast billiard estate pipe is an excellent specimen of production from the first half of the 20th Century. Note the original, intact, and unfaded red dot on top of the stem. Dunhill sued over the use of this logo claiming it too closely resembled their own white dot, and lost. Beautifully blasted and complete with crisp stampings, this straight and tapered billiard does have some minor inner rim darkening. The chamber is slightly conical at the bottom and their is plenty of open draft to enjoy with a folded flake or stuffed coin of choice.
