Andrew Marks Handmade Bent Acorn (2010 Make) Estate Pipe with Gold Plated Repair Band

This American handmade from Andrew Marks suffered a crack in the shank's face.  The repair was completed with the gold plated band seen here, and the results are impressive.  The crack is visible when the stem is removed, but is stable and the touch of gold against the smooth and well grained stummel is a welcomed accompaniment.  Otherwise there is some inner rim darkening toward the front of this lightweight and easy clencher but this pocket friendly companion is still in outstanding condition.  Note that this pipe comes with its original sleeve.
