Details
Andrea Gigliucci has been carving pipes together with a unique voice for well over a decade, while most of what we've seen pushes the boundaries of what most would consider classical shaping, this well built, brindle stemmed and boxwood adorned dublin is much closer to the mainstream. Marvelously textured without losing the proportions that make this dublin so fetching, Gigliucci has developed the technique to be both rough and sophisticated. Note the smooth bevel at the radius of the rim, and a well defined button on the brindle stem. This perfect drawing and mellifluously carved gem is a little different in the best kind of way.
