Finished smooth with a few small fills, this Savinelli Oscar Aged Briar estate pipe has a double seamed shank not quite defined enough to qualify as diamond or classic bulldog. However it does keep the general profile and lovers of the shape will appreciate the thick walls and traditional double bead around the bowl. There is some very minor inner rim darkening towards the back and the conical chamber isn't very deep but certainly wide enough to keep latakia enthusiasts pleased with an hour long session at a moderate pace. In outstanding condition, Savinelli fans should note that this pipe does not take a filter.
