Made in Saint-Claude, France in the birthplace of the briar pipe, this Lacroix estate pipe has a marvelously deep and cylindrical chamber. The design provides a pipe that will burn consistently for several hours at a time with a slow pace. Trimmed with horn and drilled to accept a pipe cleaner into the bowl, this deeply bent and smooth finished beauty is in excellent shape, though there is a small flaw in the finish underneath the bowl's transition to the shank.
