Details
Lengthy with a round shank and a minimal saddle, this light for its size GBD Prehistoric estate pipe was finished with a smoothing polish after a rigorous sandblast to achieve the weathered and aged look. The wide chamber is drilled cylindrically and some charring was discovered along the wall when being restored, so a sodium silicate coating has been added to ensure there are no future issues. The smooth rim is steeply beveled into the wide chamber and there is some significant inner rim darkening as well as some modest wear along the right side of the stampings. Note that this pipe does come with its original box and sleeve.
