Fiamma di Re
Fiamma di Re is an old Italian brand given new life by father and son duo Andrea and Enrico Pascucci. Father Andrea has an impressive pedigree, working with some of the most famed Italian pipe companies including Mastro de Paja, Ser Jacopo, and L’Anatra.
In May of 2016, Andrea decided to start producing pipes independently, and purchased the Pesaro based brand Fiamma di Re. In 2022, his son, Enrico, joined the team, and the pair are staging what is perhaps the greatest resurgence of the classic Italian school of design.
While there are many elements present in the pipes of Fiamma di Re that are reminiscent of other Italian brands, the experience brought by Andrea and the contemporary touch provided by Enrico have yielded something quite unique. The pipes are classic, but with added touches of whimsy and grace: bulldogs and rhodesians with subtle additional curves, dublins with added angularity, and often adorned with silver or other accent materials. Fiamma di Re pipes manage to feel both fresh and familiar, and with an array of different sizes, styles, and finishes, there is something for every pipe smoker to appreciate.
There are many different series and grades of Fiamma di Re pipes. Erica, Epica, and Celtica series pipes are primarily textured, while smooth pipes are commonly stamped with one to three crowns based on grain. Better grained pipes are marked Fiammata, and can bear one or two crowns. There are several additional designations based on trim or other features.
The vast majority of Fiamma di Re pipes come with acrylic mouthpieces inlaid with silver crowns, and silver is a favorite accent material for the brand.
We are proud to represent these incredible specimens of Italian master craftsmanship and are sure these pipes will delight and surprise pipe smokers for many years to come.
