Very tall and significantly bent, this Sasieni Four Dot Ruff-Root freehand estate pipe has a ridiculously deep chamber that cones narrower to the draft hole well placed at the very bottom. The staggered saddle stem is an Italian invention and the shaping was no doubt inspired by the Danish freehand shapes flooding the market at the time. As sandblast finished go this one is magnificent being both tan and covered in growth rings stacked upon each other and cascading down the acreage of tall stummel. It will sit, though the bowl is so tall that filling it with tobacco will make it much sturdier on a flat surface. There is some inner rim darkening but this English freehand is in excellent condition with an impressively smooth draw. Note that this pipe will pass a cleaner, though it is difficult and will require a bend in the cleaner before entering the stem.
