Mauro Armellini Europa Bent Freehand with Acrylic and Brass Estate Pipe

A long staggered saddle stem and acrylic ferrule extending the shank make this Italian handmade estate pipe from Mauro Armellini a lengthy smoker.  The large bowl is finished smooth with a good deal of contrast revealing a dense pattern of radial straight grain centered on the large heel beneath the bowl.  The rim has been carved and there is some modest darkening but this Italian freehand is in outstanding condition with a wide and conical chamber.  Drilled all the way to the bottom, this handful of smoking respite is smooth in the draw and will easily pass a cleaner.
