BBB Medina 539 Canadian Estate Pipe

Finished smooth in a high-contrast display of cross-grain, this BBB Medina estate pipe is a well shaped specimen and has a lovely swath of tight birdseye.  The cylindrical bowl is wide enough to house both folded flake and stuffed coins, though particularly suited to English and Balkan blends of any size cut.  There is some rim darkening and the stem's rhombus logo is lost to time leaving only the relief impression of the three Bs.  Additionally, while being restored, some charring was discovered so after removing the carbon a sodium silicate bowl coating has been added to ensure no future issues while being smoked.
