Marvelously lightweight with its original fishtail stem, this group 4 1966 Dunhill Shell Briar estate pipe suffered a crack in its mortise wall and shank face so a repair band of silver has been used to stabilize the wood. Wide enough in the chamber for a broad leaf or favorite English blend, this slightly over reamed lovat does have some darkening along the rim and the stampings, while still clearly legible, aren't as crisp as when it left the factory.
