At some point in this Ben Wade's Reflection estate pipe's history the stem was replaced with the marbled gray acrylic seen here. The stummel and ebonite ferrule are original and we approve of the fit and color choice. There is a dense grain pattern made more visible with a contrast smooth finish and the wide bowl holds an equally impressively wide chamber slightly coned to the bottom. The draw is excellent and it is possible to run a cleaner all the way into the bowl without removing the stem. Aside from the replacement stem and just a whisper of rim darkening, this unique and Danish handmade smoker is outstanding condition.
