Alexander Sokolik Pipe Violin Fish

There is no mistaking the trademark designs of the cello variation from Alexander's Ukrainian workshop on this violin/blowfish freehand piece.  The results from the meticulous shaping to capture not just the grain's orientation, but a sculpted shape beyond just a smoking implement is very impressive.  Like all art, the results evoke an emotional response, even if the pipe isn't your thing (although, we think it is - you just don't know it yet).  This singular piece is an incredible accomplishment - both for Mr. Sokolik and the zeitgeist of artisanal pipes.
